JAN GRZNAR
Jan Grznar has been at the helm of Salem Cabinetry since 2008 when he moved to San Luis Obispo from New York City. In NYC, Jan designed and renovated several office and residential properties. Prior to that he was an award winning film producer and the co-owner of Arc Pictures, a post-production facility. He was also the co-founder and manager of Quik Trak Messengers, one of NYC’s leading messenger companies.
He holds an MFA from Columbia University's Graduate Film Program, a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, in Philosophy from Columbia University's School of General Studies, and he studied Engineering at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, Slovakia.
With Salem Cabinetry, Jan has merged his love of engineering, design and aesthetics with his managerial and problem solving skills. This has helped Salem to become the leading cabinetry company on California's central coast.

COLLIN SPRENKLE
Collin Sprenkle grew up in Monterey, CA, where he worked at his first cabinet shop after school and during summers. Later, while studying architecture at Cal Poly, he travelled extensively in Europe and Japan, building his love for craftsmanship and detail. He also discovered a passion for building furniture. In his fifth year Design Studio,Collin won the Grand Prize in the Vellum Student Furniture Competition.
While still a student, Collin began working at Salem Cabinetry under the previous owner. He began as a laborer and after 18 months, he had become the production designer and shop manager. Upon graduating Cal Poly, Collin was offered a job by Jan Grznar, the new owner of Salem Cabinetry. Jan wanted to reinvent the company and push it to new heights, focusing less on mass production and more on high end, custom, sustainable materials and designs.
The rest, as they say, is history. Nine years and hundreds of projects later, Salem Cabinetry is better than ever and the future is bright.
